Hi recent Bride here! LaPorscha did an amazing job providing makeup services for my wedding day this past summer! I knew from my initial inquiries that LaPorscha would be organized, detailed, and professional with her work. We thoroughly discussed her services and my expectations. We also planned the bridal consultation for my engagement photos a few months later. From that conversation, she drafted contracts and had all documents and emails readily available for me to access in an online portal.

During the makeup trial, LaPorscha told me what she was doing and asked my opinion of the makeup very step of the way! I forgot to mention that we met during undergrad and although we had not seen each other in a few years, our conversations were very organic. I was very stressed during that time because of the wedding planning and I was studying for a licensing exam after law school. In the midst of all of my own stress, LaPorscha’s attention to detail gave me so immense ease! We also discussed how I wanted my makeup to be different from my bridal party. My engagement makeup was perfect! 

On the wedding day, LaPorscha set everything up and was very efficient! All my girls who had their look done by her loved it and of course—I loved my look! LaPorscha even went above and beyond by doing some additional work for some girls. She is very creative but she will listen to your concerns and will change whatever is necessary to get the right look. She can also work with a variety of skin tones—as a dark skinned bride I was worried about this based on past experiences with other makeup artists and my bridal party panned the spectrum of tones and features.  I am so thankful for her flexibility, professionalism, and sweet personality. I highly recommend her for any makeup needs!
